About Us

Larkhall Thistle Community FC was established over 25 years ago but more recently gained its charitable status in December 2023.

Larkhall Thistle Community FC is a registered charity: SCIO SC052983 and a community-based organisation, which is reliant on the goodwill and generosity of the local community, its membership, sponsorship, and grant funding bids for its income.

Through our lease of the Raploch Sports Pitches over the past 20 years, this has allowed us to continue to develop youth football in the area and build a pathway to senior and professional football. It now provides for over 250 players, across 13 teams (ages 4-21) and is a proven a pathway to Larkhall Thistles senior team.

Over recent years, our club and its members have spent significant effort managing and improving the facility and pitches. This was to demonstrate we have the capability and willingness to take it a stage further towards a Community Asset Transfer agreement.
